MILWAUKEE - Ryan Braun pounded two home runs and rookie pitcher Mike Fiers ran his scoreless innings streak to 19 in a row as the Milwaukee Brewers whipped Arizona 10-2 last night.

Braun leads the National League with 22 home runs. Teammates Cody Ransom and Carlos Gomez also hit the ball out of the park in the win. The Brewers took a 1-0 lead in the second when Corey Hart tripled, then scored on a wild pitch. Braun’s first homer doubled the Brewers’ lead in the third, then the Crew broke the game wide open with a six-run rally in the fourth. Ransom’s three-run homer was the big blow.

The Diamondbacks scored single runs in the eighth and ninth, long after the final outcome had been decided.
