T-Wolves reportedly sign Brandon Roy to contract

MINNEAAPOLIS - Brandon Roy has reportedly come out of retirement to join the Minnesota Timberwolves. Several on-line reports indicate the 27-year-old University of Washington product will sign a two-year deal worth about $10-million-dollars on July 11th.

The Warriors, Bulls and Mavericks were among the interested teams. Roy retired prior to last season due to ongoing knee injuries. Roy averaged 12 points and nearly three assists per game in his last season with Portland. Minnesota originally drafted Roy, but traded him for Randy Foye on draft night.

Timberwolves star Kevin Love will be part of Team USA's two-day training session in Las Vegas this weekend. Love is a member of the national team that will represent the U.S. at the Summer Olympic Games in London this summer. The team will workout today and tomorrow. The American roster will officially be announced on Saturday night, but Love has already made the team, according to comments made by USA team chairman Jerry Colangelo.

Humphries of Hopkins and Kardashian infamously split last October after just 72 days of marriage. The former couple's lavish wedding was the subject of a spin-off TV special from Kardashian's popular E! reality series "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Humphries, a former Golden Gopher, has reportedly said that the breakup with Kardashian left him devastated. The new developments surrounding the rumored pregnancy could factor into his divorce proceedings with Kim.
