Sunday State Sports Briefs: Bucks to have 13 players on Summer League roster
Wisconsin Sports-- Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach Jim Boylan says he expects to take 13 players to Las Vegas to begin play in the NBA's Summer League.
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach Jim Boylan says he expects to take 13 players to Las Vegas to begin play in the NBA's Summer League.
He says it's important to have enough players to cover the potential for injury or departure. He says for some of the players the summer league may not get them much play, but will hopefully serve as a means for promotion. First-round draft choice John Henson is expected to get a lot of both, play and promotion. The Bucks dropped their two-a-days to one practice on Saturday. They'll be on the court one more time today before leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow.
