PUBLIC NOTICE

PIERCE COUNTY, WISCONSIN

Notice is hereby given that Wisconsin Industrial Sand Company has filed a non-metallic mining reclamation plan with the Pierce County Land Management Department for the Maiden Rock Facility located on land in part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 15, T24N, R16W; also part of Government Lot 3, Section 15, T24N, R16W; also part of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 14, T24N, R16W; also part of Government Lot 1, Section 22, T24N, R16W; Town of Maiden Rock, Pierce County, Wisconsin.

Any person residing within, owning property within, or whose principal place of business is within 300 feet of the boundary of the parcel or parcels of land in which the nonmetallic mining site is located or proposed may request a public informational hearing. Pierce County shall hold a public hearing if requested by any of these persons within 30 days of the actual date of public notice.

The hearing shall be conducted as an informational hearing for the purpose of explaining and receiving comment from affected persons on the nature, feasibility and effects of the proposed reclamation.

The reclamation plans for the above referenced project can be viewed at the Pierce County Land Management Department, 414 W. Main Street, Ellsworth WI. during regular business hours. Please contact Brad Roy at (715) 273-6747 with any questions.
