Minnesota's Ben Revere and Joe Mauer each hit RBI singles in the seventh inning to lift the Twins to a 6-4 win over the Orioles last night at Target Field. Ryan Doumit clubbed a two-run single prior to Brian Dozier's run scoring single in the fifth that tied the game. Alex Burnett picked up the win and Jared Burton notched his third save for Minnesota, which has won two straight after losing five in-a-row. Adam Jones clubbed a three-run homer and Nick Markakis went 3-for-4 with two runs for Baltimore. Luis Ayala took the loss out of the bullpen as the O's dropped their seventh contest in nine games. The same two teams play tonight in Minneapolis in game three of a four-game series.

Twins closer Matt Capps went back on the disabled list yesterday with shoulder soreness. The team says he irritated his right rotator cuff during Monday's game against the Orioles. The team called up Nick Blackburn from Class AAA Rochester to take Capps' spot on the roster. Blackburn will go back into the starting rotation. Jared Burton notched the save in last night's 6-4 win over the O's.
