Letter: His idea is website for people wanted by police

TO THE EDITOR: Readers: I enjoy reading the letters to the editor.

They are both entertaining and informative.

I have an idea that could save money and help our overworked police department. There is a website for people in jail with information about them, I’m told.

How about a website for people wanted by the police with a photo and basic statistics so the general public could provide extra eyes and ears, and make the streets a little safer and add a little accountability?

I have called the various departments and they don’t know exactly why they could not. I see there is an election coming up for D.A. How about it? Can this be done? Would you support it?
