GREEN BAY - Super Bowl winning coach Mike Holmgren was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame last night.
Holmgren was introduced by former Packer general manager Ron Wolf. Holmgren came to Green Bay 21 years ago and took a team which had had a winning season just four times in the previous 24 years. He coached the Packers to a 75-37 record in seven season, winning the NFC Central Division three times and the 1997 Super Bowl.
Forwards Tobias Harris and John Henson scored 22 points apiece, leading the Milwaukee Bucks summer league team to an 88-87 victory over Boston. Milwaukee’s record is now 3-1. Harris hit two free throws with less than six seconds left to win the game. Henson took down nine rebounds and dished four assists. Larry Sanders, another Milwaukee first-round pick, owned the boards with 15 rebounds. The Bucks complete the summer league schedule today with a game against Chicago starting at 3 p.m. CDT.
