Charlotte L. Huppert, 76

Charlotte "Char" L. Huppert, age 76, of Prescott, died Monday, July 23, at her home.

Charlotte was born on Oct. 28, 1935, in Madelia, Minn., to Charles and Alice (Frye) Rice. She was a graduate of Madelia High School and on Oct. 20, 1956, she married Duane C. Huppert at St. Louis Catholic Church in St. Paul, Minn.

Char was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Prescott.

She is survived by her husband, Duane of Prescott; three daughters: Pam (Tom) Treffehn, Florida; Lorilee Anderson, Baldwin, Wis.; Cheryl Brekken, Prescott; 14 grandchildren, Tatiana Treffehn, Michael Treffehn, Danielle (Bjorn) Erickson, Sarah (Joseph) Reusch, Vanessa Anderson, Jake Anderson, Naomi (David) Long, Kathryn Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Theresa Anderson, James Anderson, Jacob Brekken, Nicholas Brekken; six great-grandchildren, George Mark, Alexander, Dona, Mary Charlotte, Ivan, and Marcus; sister, Nancy (Duane) Stevenson, Madelia.

Char was preceded in death by her parents, infant twins, and son in-law Mark Anderson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial of cremated remains will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hill Funeral Home, Prescott, and for 1 hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday.
