Ellsworth Legion baseball team wins first playoff game
The Ellsworth American Legion Post #204 senior baseball team won its first playoff game Tuesday evening at Brown Field.
HAGER CITY - The Ellsworth American Legion Post #204 senior baseball team won its first playoff game Tuesday evening at Brown Field.
Ellsworth defeated Coon Rapids, Minn. Black 13-3 in five innings. Brady Yanish was the winning pitcher. He tossed a five-hitter with five strikeouts.
Dennis Schutz had two hits for Ellsworth and Logan Armstrong had three hits with a double.
