The four Republican candidates for Wisconsin’s open U-S Senate seat will take part in their first debate today. WTAQ Radio of Green Bay is sponsoring the two-hour forum – and it will be streamed live on the station’s Web site at WTAQ.com starting at 9 a.m. Tommy Thompson, Eric Hovde, Mark Neumann, and Jeff Fitzgerald are all running for the G-O-P Senate nomination in a primary that’s 15 days away. The winner will face Democrat Tammy Baldwin in November for the right to replace the retiring Herb Kohl. Only one other formal debate is planned – a televised forum on the Friday night before the August 14th primary.
