Two teens from New Richmond dead after I-94 accident
Two teen boys from New Richmond were killed, and two others were injured, when their SUV rear-ended a semi-truck. It happened around 1:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon on Interstate-94 near Hudson, about six miles east of the Wisconsin-Minnesota border.

The State Patrol said the truck was stopped in heavy traffic when it was hit by the SUV. Two passengers, ages 16-and-17, were killed. The 17-year-old driver was in critical condition at last word at a hospital in Saint Paul Minnesota. Officials said the other passenger, a 17-year-old boy, had minor injuries.
The semi driver, a 34-year-old Cadott man, was not hurt. The crash closed the eastbound lanes of 94 near Hudson for two hours. The mishap is still under investigation.
