State's NASCAR drivers scattered at different races this weekend

Matt Kenseth of Cambridge hopes to regain the lead in the Sprint Cup standings at the Pennsylvania 400 on Sunday at Pocono. Kenseth fell to second in the season point totals last weekend behind Dale Earnhardt Jr. Kenseth now has 717 points, 15 fewer than Earnhardt. Paul Menard of Eau Claire, who’s at No. 16 in the standings, is entered along with Travis Kvapil of Janesville.
The Camping World Truck drivers are also in Pocono for the Pocono Mountains 125 tomorrow. Johnny Sauter of Necedah is entered. He’s currently 13th in the standings.
The Nationwide Series is in Newton, Iowa for the U.S. Cellular-250 tomorrow. Beloit-born Danica Patrick is 10th in the Nationwide standings. She’s entered in the race along with Tim Schendel of Sparta.
