Wisconsin News-- Milwaukee police are asking the public to help in the search for a 10 year old girl who has been missing since last week.

Tyrena Childs is 10 years old. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket and white shorts. She was reported missing Wednesday. The girl is described as being about five feet, four inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. If you have information about her whereabouts, you should call Milwaukee police at 414-933-4444.

Caledonia police report foul play is not suspected in the death of a Racine woman who had been missing for four days. The body of 22 year old Rebecca Ryan was discovered in a quarry yesterday. Her family had reported her missing late Tuesday. Searchers had found her backpack and police asked for the public’s help in finding her. That happened yesterday morning when an officer spotted the body in the Vulcan Materials Company quarry. An autopsy will be done tomorrow.

Appleton police report Sergeant Greg Pieper has been place on administrative leave while his fatal shooting of an armed man is investigating. Pieper was reportedly responding to a report of illegal fireworks in a neighborhood near downtown Appleton when he was confronted by a man with a gun. Pieper called for backup, then told the 61 year old man to drop his weapon. When the man refused, Pieper shot and killed him. Green Bay police will investigate the fatal shooting.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the Saturday crash of a small plan in a field near the Town of Burlington. The accident reportedly happened about 4 p.m. The Racine County Sheriff’s Department reports the pilot and a single passenger suffered minor injuries. The FAA is working to determine why the plane went down.
