A two-vehicle collision near Main and Grant streets in Ellsworth’s west business district was reported to the local police department Tuesday shortly after 4 p.m.

2 vehicles collide on Ellsworth's Main Street
A two-vehicle collision near Main and Grant streets in Ellsworth’s west business district was reported to the local police department Tuesday shortly after 4 p.m.
The driver of a late model Buick with Wisconsin license plates appeared to have been headed north when the car entered Main Street, colliding with a late model Ford Expedition with Minnesota license plates, which appeared to have been headed east on Main. Neither driver experienced visible injuries.
Both the car and the SUV had front end damage, the former primarily to its front left and the latter to its front right and side. Besides the EPD, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene, in the vicinity of Brickner’s Service Station.
