Minnesota Sports-- The University of Minnesota women's volleyball team is ranked 16th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll.
(Minneapolis, MN) -- The University of Minnesota women's volleyball team is ranked 16th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll.
The Golden Gophers are one of seven Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25, joining Penn State, Nebraska, Illinois, Purdue, Michigan and Ohio State.
Minnesota went 20-12 last season while making it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
The Gophers open the season August 25th at James Madison University in Virginia.
