Wisconsin Sports-- Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy says wide receiver Greg Jennings may be able to return to the practice field today.
GREEN BAY - Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy says wide receiver Greg Jennings may be able to return to the practice field today.
Jennings has been sidelined since he suffered a concussion during the team’s August 3rd Family Night scrimmage at Lambeau Field. McCarthy says Jennings has progressed through the protocol for returning from head injuries and is thought to be very close to returning. McCarthy also said linebacker Desmond Bishop had surgery on his right hamstring yesterday. The injury suffered in Green Bay’s first preseason game may have ended the standout defender’s season.

Wojta was picked by the Lynx in the second round of this year’s draft, then was waived at the end of the training camp. She signed a seven-day contract July 10, appearing in just one game, grabbing two rebounds in four minutes of play against Tulsa July 12. The transaction was completed yesterday just before the Lynx took on the Washington Mystics after a month-long break for the Olympics.
