St. Croix County Republican Party Chair Jesse Garza said Thursday that Gov. Scott Walker will be in Hudson the afternoon of Saturday, May 26. The time, however, has changed from the original announced time. Garza said Walker is now scheduled to be at the Hudson Victory Center, 213 Second St., at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, an hour earier than originally scheduled.
“We’d like people to be there at about 1 p.m. so things are in place when the Governor arrives,” Garza said.
The Republican Party has also scheduled a rally at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at Hudson’s Lakefront Park. Scheduled to speak at that event are U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy, State Sen. Sheila Harsdorf and State Rep. Dean Knudson.
Walker is being challenged by Democrat Thomas Barrett Tuesday, June 5 in the recall election.
