The Prescott Pirates amateur baseball team advanced to the championship of the Wisconsin Baseball Association State Tournament.
OSSEO - The Prescott Pirates amateur baseball team advanced to the championship of the Wisconsin Baseball Association State Tournament.
Prescott defeated the Haugen Knights 10-7 in the semifinals Saturday afternoon at Merchants Park.
The Pirates will play Menomonie. The Eagles defeated Ellsworth 6-3 in 11 innings in a semifinal contest delayed by rain Saturday evening.
The championship game is at 12 p.m.
