BARABOO - Baraboo police arrest a woman after she posted a picture on Facebook of her bright, new hairstyle.
Krysta L. Skaife is accused of breaking into a neighboring home and taking money and electronics, including a pair of televisions. The burglary victim’s neighbor told police he saw a woman with bright red hair carrying items from the house to a car.
The neighbor apparently knew the suspect’s father, but didn’t know her name.
Police used the information to do an online search and fine the picture posted to Facebook showing her with “pinkish-red hair.” The neighbor used the picture to confirm she was the person who had been seen carrying the stolen items out of the house.
