Weather conditions could lead to water spouts on Lake Michigan

MILWAUKEE - Forecasters say weather conditions offer the potential for more water spouts over Lake Michigan today and tomorrow.

Several were seen yesterday. National Weather Service forecasters in Sullivan used radar images to confirm several water spouts had appeared on the lake between 10 and 11 a.m. Saturday.

Pictures of the water spouts were tweeted and a weather service meteorologist then posted several on Facebook. The pictures were taken 57 miles southeast of Mitchell International Airport.
