Motorcycle accident injures Stillwater man in Spring Lake Twp.
A Stillwater man was injured in a motorcycle accident which took place Sunday afternoon on Hwy. 128, about a mile and half north of Hwy. 72 in the town of Spring Lake.
ELMWOOD - A Stillwater man was injured in a motorcycle accident which took place Sunday afternoon on Hwy. 128, about a mile and half north of Hwy. 72 in the town of Spring Lake.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's report, Vincent Colorito, 54, was riding a motorcycle alone northbound on Hwy. 128 at approximatley 1:39 p.m. when it failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road. Colorito was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul by Mayo One Helicopter with undetermined injuries.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Elmwood Fire Department and EMS and the Spring Valley Fire Department.
The accident is still under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
