The new EPC prep football cooperative of Elmwood and Plum City high schools takes to the field for their first contest ever as they travel to Spring Valley for a non-conference contest.

Kick-off for the game is at 7 p.m. at Syverson Park.

Spring Valley played both squads last season with the Cardinals beating PC 38-18 and snapping the Blue Devils 52-game regular season win-streak and they shut-out Elmwood the following week 12-0. Valley is hoping to build on a successful season last year which saw them finish 9-3.

The new EPC squad has 30 kids from Elmwood and 17 from Plum City. The team will be wearing silver and black uniforms.

EPC first home contest will be in Plum City next Friday vs. Alma/Pepin. This will also be their first Lakeland South Conference game as well.
