Jill Siewert, 51

Jill Ellen (Wickersheim) Siewert, age 51, of Ellsworth, passed away peacefully on Aug. 24 at her home.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1960, in Blooming Prairie, Minn., to Gerald and Donna (Peyton) Wickersheim. Jill graduated high school in 1979 in Greeley, Colo. She attended Colorado Mountain College to pursue her degree as a veterinary technician. She married Robert Siewert on May 28, 1983. Together they had three children. Jill and her family moved to Ellsworth in 1996 to start the family farm.

Jill is survived by her husband, Bob; children Samantha (Daniel Leonard) of Ellsworth and Max of Ellsworth; grandson Jacob; siblings Dee Ann Mebane of Aurora, Colo., Donita Wickersheim of Aurora, and Jon Wickersheim of Portland, Ore.; and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by son Zachary; parents, Gerald and Donna Wickersheim; brother Guy Wickersheim.

A memorial service for Jill will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Bethel Covenant Church. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday at the church.
