Stricker tied for 54th in the opening playoff event, the Barclays at Farmingdale New York. He shot a three-over-par 74 in his final round yesterday, to finish at three-over-287. Wilson failed to make the weekend cut. So did Jerry Kelly of Madison, and Kelly was eliminated after he was not among those advancing. He finishes the year with a Fed-Ex ranking of 122nd.
Nick Watney won the Barclays at 10-under, and he’s first in the Fed-Ex standings going into the second of four playoff tournaments that continue until late September.
