Hines
Friends, family and former co-workers stopped by the Pierce County Emergency Operations Center room in the courthouse annex Wednesday to congratulate Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Hines on his 31 years of service and wish him well on his retirement. “We are going to miss you,” Sheriff Nancy Hove said before presenting him with a plaque. Hines briefly spoke and said, while giving up being a deputy was hard, he still wants to do other things. One of those is being a milk hauler for the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, where Hines started this week.
