Lynx go overtime to down Silver Stars

-- After watching a six-point lead disappear in the final three minutes of regulation, the Minnesota Lynx recovered in overtime to beat the San Antonio Silver Stars 96-84 in WNBA action last night at the Target Center.

MINNEAPOLIS -- After watching a six-point lead disappear in the final three minutes of regulation, the Minnesota Lynx recovered in overtime to beat the San Antonio Silver Stars 96-84 in WNBA action last night at the Target Center.

All five Minnesota starters were in double figures with Seimone Augustus and Taj McWilliams-Franklin scoring 19 points each. Rebekkah Brunson added 17 points and 20 rebounds for the Lynx, who have won seven straight. Brunson's 20 rebounds are a single-game franchise record.

The Lynx return to action Friday against Tulsa.
