BOSTON - A second straight round of two under par 69 moves Wisconsin’s Steve Stricker up into a tie for 19th place at the Deutsche Bank Championship this holiday weekend.
Stricker trails second-round leader Rory McIlroy by eight strokes. McIlroy has a one-shot lead over Louis Oosthuizen entering today’s third round and two golfers – Ryan Moore and Tiger Woods – linger two shots off the pace in Boston.
Pewaukee native Mark Wilson just made the cut by firing a one under 70 Saturday. He is two over for the tournament, which is the second of four tournaments in the Fed-Ex Cup Playoffs. Stricker came into the event tied for 16th in the point standings.
