ATLANTA - Controversy over a tossed water bottle was addressed after last night’s Nationwide Series NRA American Warrior 300 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Kevin Harvick thought the water bottle toss brought on the race’s seventh caution and allowed two competitors to pit for fresh tires, including Brad Keselowski, who was doing the tossing. However, it was caution number eight, caused by a wreck involving Danica Patrick, that let Ricky Stenhouse Jr. grab the victory.

Keselowski finished second, with Harvick winding up third. Nationwide points leader Eric Sadler was fourth and Patrick wound up 13th.
