ELY, Minn. - Firefighters are still putting in control lines around a growing wildfire in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

There are also no closings in the area due to the fire but officials say camping on nearby Otter Lake is not recommended.

Several wildfires are being contained and stamped out in northwestern Minnesota, where the wildfire danger is considered extreme. The DNR last reported four active fires -- the largest of which was burning in northern Marshall County. Most of Minnesota now has at least a high fire danger rating due to a lack of rain.
