PLUM CITY—Laura Ingalls Wilder Quilt Show ‘n’ Show will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Laura Ingalls Wilder Days in Pepin.

Quilts will be on display in the Ingalls Cabin. Large and small quilts, made by today’s quilters, demonstrate the days of Wilder.

A Wisconsin quilter designs Wilder’s quilts, using stories in her books. Speakers tell Wilder stories associated with various quilt blocks.

Visitors can win prizes afterward by accurately matching stories with the blocks. Visitors are invited to sew 4” x 4” pieces of cloth into a quilt block for themselves. Approximately 25 quilters, speakers, and workers make the show happen for visitors across the United States.

Quilting will be done at Ingalls Cabin, south of Plum City on CTH CC.

Downtown Pepin will also feature: medicine show, music focused in the late 1860’s, horse-drawn wagon, pioneer games, spelling bees, old-time fiddle contest, Pepin Laura contest, candlelight craft demonstrations and live music for the crafts campfire, etc.

On Sunday, enjoy the pancake breakfast, worship service, medicine show, grand parade and more.
