Not a good day for county teams at Clifton Highlands

Even though Prescott High School girls golf team was on its home course, it shot a 237 placing the Cardinals' in sixth place Wednesday in a Middle Border Conference meet.

PRESCOTT - Even though Prescott High School girls golf team was on its home course, it shot a 237 placing the Cardinals' in sixth place Wednesday in a Middle Border Conference meet.

New Richmond won the meet with a score of 181 and Osceola was next at 182.

Three golfers tied for PHS's lowest score: Megan Westerberg, Katie Filkins and Hannah Lebakken all shot 58s.

Ellsworth's top golfer was Karissa Seibel, who had her best meet of the season with a nine-hole score of 49. Aubrey Langer finished with a score of 50.

The next meet for both Ellsworth and Prescott is next Tuesday's Somerset Invitational.
