M & I Prescott bank robbed

An individual dressed in a camouflage coat,hood and a black bandana reportedly robbed a Prescott bank about 12:40 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, and was last seen leaving the area on foot.

PRESCOTT -- An individual dressed in a camouflage coat,hood and a black bandana reportedly robbed a Prescott bank about 12:40 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, and was last seen leaving the area on foot.

Pierce County authorities were alerted to the robbery when an individual, visiting a drive-up window at the bank, noticed a bank employee behind the security glass indicating a robbery was unfolding inside.

While officers were en route, a customer reported seeing the camo-clad figure fleeing the M & I Bank, 1049 Campbell St. N.

Radio transmissions between officers described the suspect as a male in his 30's, between 5-foot, six and eight inches tall, around 160 pounds, and wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood and black bandana around his face.

There was no information offered about a weapon.

Prescott police and sheriff's deputies were at the scene, investigating the incident.
