EPC gets first win, whips Clear Lake

The Elmwood/Plum City prep football team won its first-ever game Friday with 37-6 beatdown of Clear Lake.

CLEAR LAKE - The Elmwood/Plum City prep football team won its first-ever game Friday with 37-6 beatdown of Clear Lake.

EPC took a 24-0 lead at halftime and added 13 more points in the third quarter.

Logan Wolf scored on a pair of touchdowns of eight and 15 yards and quarterback Tom LaFlex ran for two touchdowns and threw for two touchdowns of 16 and 23 yards to Seth Jones and Logan Wolf.

EPC had its best rushing game of the season so far with 289 yards led by 84 yards from LaFlex and 68 yards on eight carries by Wolf. LaFlex was 7-of-16 passing for 116 yards. EPC amassed 405 yards of total offense.

EPC's defense forced four Warrior turnovers with Eli Fredrickson and Josh Wells both getting interceptions.

EPC's next game is Friday at Plum City against Boyceville.
