RICHMOND, Va. - Clint Bowyer picks up his second Sprint Cup Series victory of the season by edging Jeff Gordon in yesterday’s Federated Auto Parts 400.
By finishing second at the Richmond International Raceway, Gordon grabbed the final wild-card spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, which starts next weekend.
Matt Kenseth finished fifth yesterday, but he had already qualified. Paul Menard finished 23rd and Travis Kvapil 27th in the last race before the Chase.
