The Spring Valley woman who was charged last month for allegedly hitting three children with cornstalks is back in trouble with law enforcement.
Tracy L. Blair, 41, was charged last week with her fourth operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, with a minor in her vehicle. This is on top of being charged with a battery to a police officer in a separate incident.
On Aug. 12, Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies noticed a vehicle with a cracked windshield and a seat belt not buckled just off of CTH B in the Village of Spring Valley. Upon pulling the vehicle over, the female adult driver (a young female was in the front passenger seat) said she didn’t have a driver’s license because it was revoked. She was later identified as Blair.
Deputies asked why she was driving; she responded she was taking the younger female fishing. After further discussion, deputies asked her if she had been drinking; she said she wasn’t, even though there was an empty beer bottle near the back of the vehicle and her eyes were slightly bloodshot.
Deputies then performed a series of tests on Blair and did a preliminary blood alcohol test which resulted in a .097. She was then arrested and transported to the Pierce County Jail. Court records show Blair has had three prior OWI convictions – 1992, 2006 and 2007 – in Wisconsin.
