Emma's Hope walk this Saturday

PEPIN--The 12th annual Emma’s Hope fundraiser will be this Saturday in Pepin.
Emma’s Hope was inspired by Emma Laehn, who was diagnosed with cancer when she was two-years-old. She is now a sophomore at Pepin High School. As a result, her family wants to support other families who are facing the terrifying reality of a cancer diagnosis.
The event raises money and awareness for Children’s Cancer Research Fund, which works tirelessly with the University of Minnesota.
Action begins at 9 a.m. with the silent auction and registration at Pepin High School, with the rally at 10 a.m., followed by the walk. Angie Laehn, Emma’s mom and event organizer, commends Pepin Area Schools, The Garden Pub and Grill and Plum City FFA for being rest stop sponsors.
