Ellsworth spikers fall to River Falls 3-1

After winning the first game, the Ellsworth High School volleyball team could not get another win against River Falls and lost 3-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday at EHS.

After winning the first game, the Ellsworth High School volleyball team could not get another win against River Falls and lost 3-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday at EHS.

Ellsworth won the first game 26-24 but River Falls easily took Games 2 and 3 25-12 and 25-10 scores.

The Panthers had a big lead in Game 4, all the way to 15-6. But the Wildcats rallied and outscored Ellsworth 14-2 to take a 20-17 lead. The Panthers back to tie the score but lost 25-23.

EHS, 5-10 overall, plays at Somerset Thursday in their Middle Border Conference opener.
