It seemed to Pierce County Soil Conservationist Jon Krauss like a lot of aspects of the season were abnormal this year.
Area dodged drought this growing season

”It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”
This famous line from literature could apply to the growing season area farmers just experienced. Some not far from Pierce County got a dose of excessive drought, while others closer to home only had to deal with extreme heat.
It seemed to Pierce County Soil Conservationist Jon Krauss like a lot of aspects of the season were abnormal this year.
