An upgrade to the Ellsworth School District’s computer internet web site has led to a fresher look and improved capabilities.

The revamped site adds opportunities for teachers to communicate with students and parents, for district officials to communicate with the community and for families to take advantage of linked outside resources, according to Communications Specialist Mindy Anderson, Superintendent Barry Cain and Network Administrator Jason O’Neil. It’s also intended to be more user-friendly.

“It was designed based on why things should be where they’re at,” Cain said Thursday, citing the expertise of Computer Integrations Technology (CIT) of Woodbury, Minn., hired with school board approval to implement the project.
