Boyceville overpowers EPC 16-0

Two second-half touchdowns were enough for Boyceville to overcome EPC 16-0 Friday in a non-conference contest.

PLUM CITY - Two second-half touchdowns were enough for Boyceville to overcome EPC 16-0 Friday in a non-conference contest.

The Bulldogs, 3-1 overall, eventually wore down EPC midway through the third quarter, getting their first touchdown on a 16-yard run by running back Zach Klassen. They added another TD in the fourth quarter on a one-yard run by Bill Kraft.

EPC had two sparkling chances to score in the ballgame but were unable to do so. A wide-open receiver dropped a pass in the end-zone and EPC missed recovering a botched punt return in the end-zone.

EPC drops to 1-3 overall and plays Turtle Lake next Friday in Elmwood.
