DNR wardens look for persons involved in illegal dumping in the Indianhead
Western Wisconsin News-- Wardens with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are asking the public to help them catch the parties dumping hazardous waste products in the northwestern part of the station.

Earlier this month, paint, coatings and solvent wastes were found near Siren in Burnett County and Frederic in Polk County. Both private and public lands were impacted. Illegal dumps have also been found in two other Burnett County locations, near Webster and Danbury.
The public is being warned the hazardous waste is a health risk to people, wildlife and the groundwater supply. The latest dumping discovery was made September 4th.
