ATLANTA - Steve Stricker of Madison was at even-par after five holes of his opening round at the Tour Championship, the final event in the PGA’s Fed-Ex Cup Playoffs.
It’s being played at East Lake near Atlanta. Stricker came into the tournament at Number-13 in the Fed-Ex point standings.
The Top-30 in those standings are squaring off. Scott Piercy and Bo Van Pelt shared the early afternoon lead, both at two-under-par.
