Police seek public's help in bank robbery

The Prescott Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation request the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect in the robbery of the M and I Bank, 1049 Campbell St., Prescott, at 12:41 p.m. on Sept. 7.

PRESCOTT--The Prescott Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation request the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect in the robbery of the M and I Bank, 1049 Campbell St., Prescott, at 12:41 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Chief of Police Mike R. Bondarenko has released two sketches of the suspect as described by two eyewitnesses who save him leave the bank on a dark-colored mountain-type bicycle at 12:42 p.m. The suspect was wearing a camouflage jacket and hood, a camouflage mask, sunglasses and dark pants. He is described as a male, 20s, medium brown skin, five-feet-four to five-feet-six, 140 to 150 pounds, three or four day growth of facial hair and blond hair.

“We would also like to speak with anyone who might have been in the vicinity of the bank before, during or immediately after the robbery, who might have seen the suspect riding his bicycle toward or away from M and I Bank,” Bondarenko said.
