Prescott, Plum City both unbeaten in league play

Prescott took down defending Middle Border Conference champion Baldwin-Woodville with a surprisingly easy three-game sweep 25-20, 25-7 and 25-13. Prescott is 3-0 in the MBC.
Plum City trailed in all four of their games against rival Spring Valley at home Thursday. But the Blue Devils won three out of the four to stay unbeaten in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference at 4-0. Marah Boyer led PC with 24 kills while setters Ashlie Miller and Shelby Kannel both combined for 52 assists.
Also Thursday night Ellsworth got its first league win with a 3-0 sweep of New Richmond in its Homecoming match while Elmwood remained winless in league play along with Spring Valley as they fell to Elk Mound 3-0. The Mounders are tied with PC in the D-SC standings.
