(Iowa City, IA) -- The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers will try to make it five straight wins to start their season tomorrow when they head to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes and kick off their Big Ten schedule.
The Gophers enter the game on a five game winning streak overall going back to last season and have beaten Iowa the past two seasons. Iowa enters the game with a 2-2 record and are coming off a heartbreaking loss last week at home against Central Michigan when they allow 9 points over the final minute of the game to lose 32-31.
The last time the Gophers defeated the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City was back in 1999.
