The Prescott High School volleyball team can clinch a share of the Middle Border Conference title next week after winning at Ellsworth Thursday.

The Prescott High School volleyball team can clinch a share of the Middle Border Conference title next week after winning at Ellsworth Thursday.

Not only did Prescott win last night but Durand upended Somerset by a 3-0 score, handing the defending champs their second loss in MBC play. Unless PHS is upset by Amery next Tuesday, the Cardinals will clinch a share of the conference title for the first time since 2008.

Much like its win over Durand on Tuesday, the Cards came back from a Game 2 loss to wins Games 3 and 4. PHS rallied from a 14-6 deficit in Game 4 to win 25-22.

The Panthers drop to 1-4 in league play.
