OSCEOLA - The Ellsworth High school girls tennis team was unable to advance anyone to the sectional meet from Monday's WIAA Division 2 Osceola Subsectional.

All three Panther singles players plus all three doubles teams won their preliminary round matches. However this pitted them against No. 1 seeds in their respective flights and thus put their players out of the tournament early on.

EHS senior Stacie Peterson played a grueling three-hour match in the first round but was eliminated at No. 2 singles

Baldwin-Woodville had the most points with 24 followed by Ashland 18, Amery 14, Osceola 8, Unity/Luck 8 and Barron 4 points with Ellsworth, Phillips and Hurley scoring zero points.
