Spring Valley runners take part in Griak Invitational
Two short-handed Spring Valley High School cross country teams ran in the the 27th annual Griak Invitational last weekend at the University of Minnesota's Les Bolstad Golf Course.

ST. PAUL - Two short-handed Spring Valley High School cross country teams ran in the the 27th annual Griak Invitational last weekend at the University of Minnesota's Les Bolstad Golf Course.
Both teams finished far, far back in their respective races. Many of the Cardinals' top runners sat out the race to heal up for the upcoming conference and sectional meets.
Spring Valley's girls' ran 5000 meters. There times were as follows: Riley Bowman 21:46; Amanda Miller 26:50; Emma Gaustad 22:51; Jacqueline Dieckman 26:16; Sophie Koch 25:40; Sarah Sortedahl 26:57 and Brianna Wyss 26:01.
The times for the SV boys' team were Jacob Richardson 22:50; Jacob Woeltjen 26:02; Derek Huebel 10 22:50; Quinton Elliot 26:56; and Mitchell Johnson 25:00.
