An Ellsworth woman was transported to Regina Medical Center in Hastings early Thursday evening after her car ran off Hwy. 10 and into a corn field before rolling over.
Mary Bryniarski, 51, of rural Ellsworth, was able to climb from the vehicle and make her way out to Hwy. 10 and flag down a passing motorist after the crash, according to Pierce County sheriff's deputy Robin Kivel.
She was subsequently taken to Hastings by the Prescott Ambulance Service with "undetermined" injuries, according to a press release.
Kivel said Bryniarski was eastbound on Hwy. 10 near 1090th Street when her car left the road, ran into the south ditch and about 150 yards through a cornfield before it overturned.
Prescott firefighters also assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
