INDIANAPOLIS - Decisions on whether defensive end Mike Neal or running back James Starks play tomorrow may wind up being game time decisions. Neither has played a down yet in the young season.

Neal was suspended the first four weeks. Starks has been idled since the pre-season with a toe injury. The injury report for tomorrow’s game at Lucas Stadium in Indianapolis shows no action for wide receiver Greg Jennings. He is out with a groin injury suffered against New Orleans. Defensive lineman Ryan Pickett is listed as probable, despite shoulder and knee injuries. Safety M.D. Jennings is also probable for tomorrow.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says he felt his phone to replacement referee Wayne Elliott was personal and he didn’t think it would be publicized. McCarthy says he made the call because he felt it was the right thing to do. Elliott talked about McCarthy’s call on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” program. He says McCarthy called him when he had heard Elliott was having a rough week with all the criticism. McCarthy reportedly told Elliott he didn’t agree with the call that cost the Packers the game, but he thought Elliott handled the situation with class. Elliott was the official who reviewed the end zone decision and let the on-field ruling stand.
